Symptoms
- Temperature jumps up/down when turning the knob.
- Adjustments don’t match the direction you’re turning.
What to Do
Turn off and unplug your grill.
Flip the power switch to the on position/press the power button
to the on position.
Wait 30 seconds.
Flip the power switch to the off position/press the power button.
Plug in and turn on the grill.
If the knob works now, success!
If not, proceed to Step 2.
Pull the knob straight off.
Look for dirt, grease, or smoke buildup.
Clean if needed, reinstall, and power cycle again.
If the issue persists, go to Step 3.
Make sure your grill has the latest firmware.
Update and test again.
