What to do if the controller screen has fading pixels.

Fading Pixels

Symptoms

• Pixels on the controller screen are faded or dim

Causes 

• Cold weather, low ambient temperatures
• Electro-static discharge
  • If the grill is on a vinyl or non-wood deck, static electricity can be generated and transfer to the controller when touched.

Resolution

1. If the grill is on a vinyl or non-wood deck, consider moving the grill to a different location.
2. Power cycle your grill.
3. Ensure contrast settings are adjusted.
   1. Press MENU
   2. Turn the knob 6 clicks to get to SETTINGS.
   3. Turn 1 click to get to CONTRAST.
   4. Turn the knob left for darker and right for lighter.
4. If the issue still persists, contact customer service.
