Forget a Network on Your Grill

Very rarely should you need to force a grill to forget a network. You may need to do this when attempting to re-pair a grill to a new network, if a grill is showing offline in the app or if your grill is showing the wrong network name.

 

Forget Network on a WiFIRE Grill

When forgetting a network to add/change to a new network follow the steps below:

  1. On the controller, press the Menu button. 
  2. Scroll down to WiFi Information and press knob to confirm. 
  3. Scroll down to Forget Network and press knob to confirm. 
  4. Confirm the grill forgot the previously connected network by making sure the WiFi Information is blank. 

Wi-Fi Reset is available on some D2 Grills. 

Forget Network on a Touchscreen Timberline/Ironwood

  1. On the display, go to the main menu and select, WiFIRE CONNECTIVITY.
  2. Select, WIFI INFO.
  3. Tap, FORGET NETWORK.
  4. Tap, YES, to confirm you want to forget the network.
  5. Success! You have removed the network, and the grill is ready to connect to a new WiFi network.

Forget Network on a Woodridge Series Grill

  1. Tap the menu button on the controller.
  2. Turn dial to get to the WiFIRE menu.

  3. Press and hold dial for 3 seconds.
  4. A red X will appear on the controller screen when the network has been successfully removed.
