What to do if your replacement D2 controller is not connecting.

If your new controller isn’t pairing, it may be because the wrong QR code is being used. 

Each controller has its own unique QR code. 

The QR code under the hopper lid only works with the grill’s original controller. Replacement controllers include a new QR code sticker that must be used for pairing.

Trouble connecting?
Try these next steps:

  1. Pair your grill manually without using the QR code.
  2. If it still won’t connect, follow the steps in Initial Pairing / First-Time Connection to check for other things that may be preventing connection.
