Replacing the Rail & Trim on a Woodridge

Replacement Instructions

  1. Turn off and unplug grill from power.
  2. Open grill lid and remove all grill grates and the drip tray.
  3. Remove front trim panel by unscrewing five screws. Remove the 2 screws located at the front of the grill first, then the 3 screws locating in the grill. Do not allow the front trim band to fall.
  4. Remove P.A.L. rail from front trim band by unscrewing six screws.
  5. Mount new P.A.L. rail to front trim panel.
  6. Mount front trim panel to grill body.

  7. Place drip tray and all grill grates back in grill.

How to Replace a Front P.A.L Rail Trim Piece on a Woodridge Grill

Replacement Instructions

  1. Turn off and unplug grill from power.
  2. Open grill lid and remove all grill grates and the drip tray.
  3. Remove two screws from the bottom of the trim at the front of the grill.
  4. Holding the P.A.L. rail so that it doesn't fall, remove three screws from the trim located inside the grill body. Remove the front trim and place on a work surface.

  5. Remove six screws from the P.A.L. rail and remove it from the front trim.
  6. Position the P.A.L. rail on the new front trim and fasten.
  7. Position the new front trim on the front of the grill. Attach with three screws inside the grill body and two screws at the bottom of the trim on the outside.
  8. Place the grates back in the grill.

How to Replace a Right Side P.A.L. Rail

Replacement Instructions

  1. Turn off and unplug grill from power.
  2. Open hopper lid.
  3. Remove the trim band that the P.A.L. rail is mounted to by unscrewing four screws (x2 screws are located in the hopper, x2 screws are located on the outside of the hopper below the trim band).
  4. Remove P.A.L. rail from trim band by unscrewing four screws.
  5. Mount new P.A.L. rail to trim band.

How to Replace a Right Side P.A.L Rail Trim Piece

Replacement Instructions

  1. Turn off and unplug grill from power.
  2. Open the hopper lid. Inside the hopper, remove two screws from the side trim.
  3. On the outside of the grill below the P.A.L. rail, remove two screws from the side trim. Be sure to hold the P.A.L. rail so that the trim doesn't fall.
  4. Remove the side trim from the grill and place on a work surface.
  5. Remove four screws from the P.A.L. rail and remove it from the side trim.
  6. Position the P.A.L. rail on the new side trim and fasten with four screws.
  7. Position the new side trim on the hopper side of the grill. Attach with two screws on the outside of the grill and two screws inside the hopper (4 total).

How to Replace a Left Side P.A.L. Rail

Replacement Instructions

  1. Turn off and unplug grill from power.
  2. Remove all grill grates.
  3. Remove the trim band that the P.A.L. rail is mounted to by unscrewing four screws (x2 screws are located in the grill, x2 screws are located on the outside of the grill below the trim band).
  4. Remove P.A.L. rail from trim band by unscrewing four screws.
  5. Mount new P.A.L. rail to trim band.
  6. Mount trim band to grill.

How to Replace a Left Side P.A.L Rail Trim Piece

Replacement Instructions

  1. Turn off and unplug grill from power.
  2. Remove all grill grates.
  3. Remove the barrel trim band that the P.A.L. rail is mounted to by unscrewing four screws (x2 screws are located in the grill, x2 screws are located on the outside of the grill below the trim band).
  4. Remove P.A.L. rail from trim band by unscrewing four screws.
  5. Mount P.A.L. rail to new trim band.
  6. Mount new trim band to grill.
  7. Place all grill grates back in the grill.

Replacing the Rail & Trim on a Woodridge Pro
  1. Turn off and unplug grill from power.
  2. Open grill lid and remove all grill grates and the drip tray.
  3. Lift the side shelf to the horizontal position. On the front and back side shelf brackets, remove the bottom two screws. Lift the side shelf off of the top shoulder screw, leaving it installed.
  4. Remove three screws from the front side shelf bracket, then slide the bracket out to remove and set aside.
  5. At the front of the grill, remove six screws to detach the grill body front trim with P.A.L rail (x4 screws are located in the grill body, x2 screws are located on the outside below the trim).
  6. Remove x6 screws from the P.A.L. rail and remove it from the front trim.
  7. Position the P.A.L. rail on the new front trim and fasten with x6 screws.
  8. Position the new front trim on the front of the grill. Attach with screws inside the grill body and screws at the bottom of the trim on the outside (6 total).
  9. Slide the front side shelf bracket into position in the front trim and attach with three screws.
  10. Place the side shelf back onto the top shoulder screws. Reinstall one screw on each side (2 total).
  11. Place drip tray and all grill grates back in grill.

Replacing the Rail & Trim on a Woodridge Elite & Woodridge Pro+
  1. Turn off and unplug grill from power.
  2. Open grill lid and remove all grill grates and the drip tray.
  3. Remove the cabinet doors by retracting x2 spring pins at the top of each door (1 per side). Remove the bottom hinge pins too.

  4. Below the controller, remove four screws from the front right trim panel.
  5. Remove four screws from the cabinet front trim panel. Set it aside.
  6. Remove the power cord from the side burner.
  7. Remove six screws from the side burner shelf assembly (x3 are located in the front of the grill, and x3 are located in the back).
  8. Slide the side burner shelf assembly out to remove it from the grill and set it aside.
  9. At the front of the grill, remove x6 screws to detach the grill body front trim with P.A.L rail (x4 screws are located in the grill body, x2 screws are located on the outside below the trim). Hold the P.A.L. rail while removing so that it doesn't fall, then place the front trim on a work surface.
  10. Remove x6 screws from the P.A.L. rail and remove it from the front trim.
  11. Position the P.A.L. rail on the new front trim and fasten with x6 screws.
  12. Position the new front trim on the front of the grill. Attach with the x4 screws inside the grill body and x2 screws at the bottom of the trim on the outside (6 total).

  13. Slide the side burner shelf assembly into place on the grill and attach with x6 screws (x3 are located at the front, and x3 are located at the back).
  14. Reattach the power cord to the side burner.
  15. Reattach the cabinet front trim panel using x4 screws.
  16. Below the controller, reattach the front right trim panel using four screws.
  17. Place x2 bottom door hinge pins in the cabinet base.

  18. Place the cabinet doors back onto the hinge pins. Retract the top spring pins and slide the doors in until the spring pins are seated.

  19. Place drip tray and all grill grates back in grill.
