Grill Cover Fit

Traeger grill covers are specific to each model's shape and size, taking into account features like chimneys, side shelves, P.A.L rails and more.

Most grill covers have a zipper closure. To install the cover, place the cover over the grill with the Traeger logo on the front and zip closed.

Grill Cover Fit on Touch Screen Models

New Timberline and Ironwood grill covers are created to fit like the 'Italian suit of grill covers,' meaning the fit is snug and tailored, much like an Italian suit.

  • Timberline and Timberline XL covers feature a zipper extension that allows users to keep their P.A.L accessories installed when covered.
  • Ironwood and Ironwood XL covers do not have a zipper extension. Customers will need to remove their P.A.L accessories before covering their grill.
    • Ironwood and Ironwood XL owners may purchase a Timberline or Timberline XL cover if they wish to have the expanding zipper compartment so they can keep their P.A.L accessories installed. If this is the desired option, keep in mind the cover will be loose on the top due to the difference in barrel shape.

Rather than the traditional zipper closure, the built-in Timberline cover comes with magnets.

  1. Place the cover over the grill.
  2. Adjust the cover to fit snugly, making sure the magnets align with the edge of the grill cabinet.
  3. Unzip the front zipper to accommodate P.A.L accessories (sold separately).
  4. To remove the cover, use the orange handles to pull the grill cover up and away from the grill.
