Induction Fan Replacement Steps

Estimated Time to Complete

  • Replacing the induction fan will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Removing the Old Induction Fan

  1. Power off and unplug the grill.
  2. Remove the x6 screws from the hopper service panel on the side of the hopper in the following order:
    1. Remove x2 screws on the back of the panel by the vents first.

    2. Remove x2 screws on the bottom of the panel second.

    3. Remove x2 screws on the side of the panel last.
      • Hold the panel with one hand to prevent it from falling when the last screws are removed.

  3. Cut the zip tie holding the wires together.

  4. Disconnect the induction fan wires from the back of the controller (2 purple wires).

  5. Unscrew the x4 screws on the induction fan. There is one on each corner.

  6. Pull the fan off.

Installing the New Induction Fan

  1. Put the new induction fan in place.
  2. Replace the x4 screws on the fan.
  3. Plug the induction fan wires into the back of the controller.
  4. Replace the zip tie to hold all the wires together.
  5. Replace the hopper service panel using the x6 screws.
