Lid Replacement Steps

  • Approximately 10 minutes.

Removing the Old Lid

  1. Turn off grill and unplug from power.
  2. Open lid and remove the top grill grate.

  3. Remove cotter pins by pulling them out. Repeat on the other side.

  4. Remove the washers (1 on each side of the grill inside the lid).

  5. Close the lid.
  6. From the outside of the lid, pull the lid pins out.
    • If the pins are tight, open the lid and press gently on them from the inside. Close the lid and pull the pins out from the outside.

  7. Holding the handle, lift off the lid.

Installing the New Lid

  1. Place the new lid on the grill in the closed position.
  2. Line up the holes on the sides of the lid and push the lid pin through from the outside. Repeat on the other side.

  3. Open the lid and place the washers on the lid pins (1 on each side).
  4. Slide the cotter pins into the lid pins. Repeat on the other side.
    • Cotter pins are designed to sit in the middle notch.

Lid Handle Replacement Steps

Tools Needed:

  • Phillip's screwdriver

Replacement Steps

  1. Turn off the grill and unplug from power.
  2. Open the grill lid and remove the x1 screw from each side of the grill handle.
    • There is a washer and black plastic spacer on each end of the handle.

  3. Remove old handle.
  4. Place the new handle on the lid, lining up the screw holes with the holes in the handle.
    • Place the washer next to the lid, then the plastic spacer on the washer, then the handle.
  5. Replace the screw from the inside of the lid on each side of the handle.
