Side Shelves & Bracket Replacement Steps
Tools Needed
- Phillips Screwdriver

Before Performing Any Replacement Steps:
- Turn burner knobs to OFF position, close the propane tank, and disconnect the regulator
- Remove the P.A.L. rails from the grill.
- Remove Side P.A.L. rails before the front P.A.L. rails.
- Loosen all the bolts holding the P.A.L. rail in place. Once loosened, the P.A.L. rail should be able to be lifted off the bolts and away from the shelf.
- Remove the bolts from the shelf and set aside. These will be used on the new shelf to reinstall the P.A.L. Rails.
- Fold down the shelf.
- Remove the 2 screws attaching the shelf to the bracket, 1 on front and 1 on back.
- Repeat on both sides if replacing both shelves.
- Repeat on both sides if replacing both shelves.
- With those 2 screws removed the shelf should be able to be separated from the grill, leaving the bracket attached.
- Replace the brackets (skip if only replacing the shelf).
- Remove the 2 screws from the front bracket, and the 2 from the back bracket.
- Install the new brackets.
- Partially screw the 8 screws (G) into the side shelf. Do not tighten all the way.
- Install the 2 X rubber bumper onto the bottom of the shelf (one on each corner of the shelf).
- You may need to push in on the center of the bumper while twisting to get the bumper in place.

- Insert the shelf into the brackets, adding an additional screw once in place.
- Repeat on the other side if replacing both shelves.
- Install the four P.A.L Rails in the following order: Front-Left > Side-Left > Front-Right > Side-Right.
- Tighten bolts, making sure the P.A.L. rail remains level. Do not overtighten.
Side Shelves P.A.L. Rail Replacement Steps

- 3/8"- 3/4" Wrench

- 10 minutes
Pro Tip: Depending on the placement of the P.A.L. rail being replaced, users may need to remove the adjacent rail as well.
Before Performing Any Replacement Steps:
- Turn burner knobs to OFF position, close the propane tank, and disconnect the regulator
- Ensure all control knobs are in the OFF position. Close the propane tank valve and disconnect the regulator from the propane tank.
- Remove the P.A.L. rails from the grill.
- When applicable, remove side P.A.L. rails before the front P.A.L. rails.
- Loosen all the bolts holding the P.A.L. rail in place. Once loosened, the P.A.L. rail should be able to be lifted off the bolts and away from the shelf.
- If necessary, replace any damaged bolts.
- Place the new P.A.L. rail onto the loosened bolts.
- Tighten bolts, making sure the P.A.L. rail remains level.
