Burner Replacement - Flatrock 2-Zone

How to replace the U-Burner on a Flatrock 2-Zone grill.

  • FTK0098

Replacement Steps

  1. Turn burner knobs to OFF, close the propane tank, and disconnect the regulator.
  2. Open the lid and remove the cooktop.
  3. Disconnect the burner that is being replaced by removing the 2 screws.

  4. Lift up the burner enough to access the ignitor wire connection.
  5. Remove the wire by sliding it off the back of the ignitor.
    • You can use pliers to grip the connector, so you don't have to pull on the wire and risk damaging it.

  6. After the wire is disconnected, remove the burner from the grill.
  7. Unscrew the screw holding the ignitor to the burner and pull the ignitor away from the burner.

  8. Screw the ignitor to the new U-Burner using x1 screw.
  9. Place U-Burner back in grill cavity and attach the ignitor wire to the ignitor.
  10. Attach burner by replacing x2 screws.
  11. Replace cooktop and close the lid.
