Cabinet Parts Replacement Instructions - New Timberlines

How to replace cabinet panels and doors and caster wheels on new Timberline and Timberline XL grills.

 

Caster Wheels

Caster wheels are the wheels that attach under the cabinet on the bottom of the Timberline grills. 

Applicable SKUs: KIT0613

  1. Remove the grill's internal components (grill grates, manifold, drip tray, grease governor, etc.).
  2. With the help of another person, carefully lay the grill on its back.
  3. Remove the 4 screws/4 washers from each caster to detach the wheels (16 of each in total).
  4. Place the new caster wheels in place and secure in place using 4 screws/4 washers on each caster (16 of each in total).
  5. Return the grill to its upright position.

Cabinet Doors & Door Hinges

These pieces serve as the left and right doors/access to the cabinet/bottom of the Timberline grills. 

Applicable SKUs: KIT0619, KIT0699, KIT0699

  1. Open the Cabinet doors.
  2. Locate the upper and lower hinges and remove the 2 Phillips screws securing each hinge to the door.
  3. Slide the old door out of place.
  4. If replacing the hinges, remove the hinges and replace with the new ones.
  5. Line up the new door with the hinges and place the cabinet door hinge into the hole in the cabinet door.
  6. Screw in the top and bottom hinges with 2 Phillips heads.
  7. Close the door to ensure proper fit and closure. Adjust, if necessary, by loosening the hinge screws and adjusting the hinge placement.

Cabinet Panels

Bottom Cabinet Panel

This panel sits at the bottom and serves as the base for the cabinet on the Timberline grills. 

Applicable SKUs: KIT0605, KIT0617

  1. Turn off and unplug the grill. 
  2. Remove the grill's internal components (grill grates, manifold, drip tray, grease governor, etc.).
  3. With the help of another person, carefully lay down the grill on its back.
  4. Remove the 7 screws that secure the bottom panel to the rest of the grill.
  5. Remove the bottom panel. 
  6. Replace the bottom panel with the new one and screw into place. 
  7. Return the grill to its upright position.

Back Cabinet Panel

This panel sits at the back of the cabinet on the Timberline grills. 

Applicable SKUs: KIT0600, KIT0616

  1. Turn off and unplug the grill. 
  2. Open the cabinet doors and remove all 4 screws that are attached inside the back panel, 2 on the left-hand side of the grill and 2 on the bottom.
  3. Remove the 3 screws beneath the hopper holding the back panel in place.
  4. Remove the grill's internal components (grill grates, manifold, drip tray, grease governor, etc.).
  5. With the help of another person, carefully lay down the grill on its front.
  6. Remove the bottom panel.
    1. Remove the 7 screws that secure the bottom panel to the rest of the grill.
    2. Remove the bottom panel. 
  7. Remove the back panel. 
  8. Replace the back panel with the new one.
  9. Reinstall the bottom panel and screw in the 7 screws you removed.
  10. With the help of another person, return the grill to its upright position. 
  11. Open the cabinet doors and screw in the 4 screws you previously removed into the back panel. 
  12. Reinstall the 3 screws beneath the hopper.
  13. Reinstall the grill's internal components.

Left & Right Cabinet Panels

These panels serve as the left and right support to the cabinet on the Timberline grills. 

Applicable SKUs: KIT0614, KIT0615,

  1. Turn off and unplug the grill. 
  2. Remove the grill's internal components (grill grates, manifold, drip tray, grease governor, etc.).
  3. With the help of another person, carefully lay down the grill on its back.
  4. Remove the bottom cabinet panel.
    1. Unscrew the 7 screws that secure the bottom panel to the rest of the grill.
    2. Remove the bottom panel. 
  5. Remove the left and/or right panel (the one replacing).
  6. Replace the panel with the new left or right panel.
  7. Replace the bottom panel with the new one and screw into place. 
  8. Return the grill to its upright position.

Cable Clips

The hopper cable clips are located on the back of the cabinet and are used to keep the power cord, and the Induction Cooktop cable organized.

Applicable SKUs: KIT0682

  1. Remove the screw from each clip with a Phillips screwdriver.
  2. Remove clips
  3. Replace clips and install with the two provided screws (1 screw on each clip)
