How to replace a power strip on a Timberline grill.

Replacement Instructions

- Turn off and unplug the grill.
- Remove the hopper service panel.
Before removing the hopper service panel: check your grill’s manufacturer date.
- June 2023 (2306) or after: Proceed to remove service panel.
- Before June 2023 (2305): Remove the access panel using an impact driver to prevent the possibility of stripped screws. If you don't have one on-hand, contact Traeger Support.
- Remove the two screws securing the power strip to the hopper assembly.
- Pull the power strip away from the hopper assembly.
- Disconnect the six connectors at back of the power strip.
- Connect the six connectors to the new power strip.
- Sometimes the wires are bundled and can be difficult to access from the power strip entry point, which is why we remove the access panel: so the user can push the wires through the strip entry point.
- Screw in the two screws to attach the power strip to the hopper assembly.
- Reattach the hopper service panel.
