The hot rod service panel on new Timberlines and Ironwoods holds the hot rod and the flame sensor, both of which are replaced with a new hot rod service panel.

Replacing a Hot Rod Service Panel

TOOLS NEEDED

  • Phillips screwdriver

  1. Turn off and unplug the grill.
  2. From underneath the grill on the right side, find the hot rod service panel.
  3. Remove the four screws securing the hot rod service panel in place. 
  4. The hot rod service panel will drop down.
  5. Disconnect the the two molex connections for the hot rod and the flame sensor.
  6. Connect the new hot rod and flame sensor connections.
  7. Place the new hot rod service panel back in the grill and secure using the four Phillips screws.
