Controller Buttons Unresponsive
Symptoms
The buttons on the controller are not responding when pressed.
What to Do

- Check the controller screen for dirt and grease. If the screen is dirty, clean it off with soap and warm water.
- Please Ensure:
- Not pressing too hard on the buttons. (they are capacitive touch buttons)
- Using your full fingertip when pressing (without gloves and covering as much of the button as possible, not just one side)
- Holding down the buttons for a little longer.
- It may be necessary to remove the plastic cover of the controller to allow the sensors to receive the touch input
- Power cycle the grill and try pressing the buttons again.
- What is the weather like? If it is extremely hot or extremely cold, the controller buttons may not work as intended.
- If this is the issue, you can use the app to control the grill.
- If none of the steps listed above fix the issue, contact customer service for additional assistance.
