What is a Custom Cook Setup

Our app now features a Custom Cook Setup, which works with our wired or wireless meat probes. This setup helps you select the perfect cooking temperature for your meat, using USDA standards to ensure safe cooking. Just choose the type of meat and the specific cut, and the app will set the internal temperature goal for you.

The USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) has established specific guidelines to ensure meat is cooked safely and thoroughly to prevent foodborne illnesses. These standards help ensure that meat is safe to eat by killing harmful bacteria.

Cancelling a Cook Setup

  1. Go to the section for wired & wireless probes.
  2. Select END COOK
