What is a Lid Sensor & Light Wire Harness?
A lid sensor & light wire harness delivers power to the lid sensor & light. Sends communication to the motherboard and display via both the Smart Combustion Harness and the UI Smart Combustion Harness.
The lid sensor & light wire harness does not connect directly to the motherboard.

How to Replace a Lid Sensor & Light Wire Harness
Replacing a lid sensor & light wire harness requires replacing the entire lid sensor & light KIT. The harness cannot be replaced on its own.
Tips on Harness Connection Points
The top wire on the harness connects the lid sensor to the Smart Combustion Wire Harness, and the bottom wire connects the light to the UI Smart Combustion Wire Harness.
