Note: Latest FW Version has removed the 0010: Ignitor not Detected error. If you are getting this error, it is most likely due to the grill being on outdated firmware.

What Does the Grill Do when this Message Occurs?

The grill will shut down and will not allow users to start a new cook without power cycling first.

Causes

  • Firmware is on a previous version
    AND
    • The ignitor is disconnected
      OR
    • The ignitor is sending a current that is different than normal
      OR
    • The motherboard is not detecting the expected current that the ignitor normally sends

What to Do

Safety Considerations: Ignitors can be hot enough to cause burns. Users should ensure that ignitors are not hot before handling them.

  1. Check your grill's firmware to make sure it's on the latest version.
    • Update firmware to latest version by powering on the grill and leaving it on standby while connected to WiFIRE.
  2. Once updated Power Cycle the grill.
    1. Turn off the grill using the power button on the front of the grill and unplug the grill.
    2. Ensure the grill is off for 30 seconds.
    3. Plug in the grill and turn it on.
  3. Once on latest version
    • If a grill cannot ignite, it will stay in the Ignition state for 24 minutes until throwing the Failed to Ignite Error (ER0007). See 0007: Grill Failed to Ignite.
    • If grill can ignite, and it gets to temperature, but then drops in temperature during the cook, it will throw a Low Temperature Error (ER0002) if the grill stays below 120F for 15 minutes.
    • If a grill cannot ignite, and you receive the following errors while being on FW 01.04.00, contact Customer Support.
