Important: Before You Start

  • Make sure the grill is OFF and completely cool
  • Remove all internal parts (grill grates, drip tray, and heat baffle)
  • Remove the grease bucket
  • Place the grill on a flat, stable surface
  • Have a second person help you safely handle the grill
  • Gather the tools you’ll need (tools may vary by model)
  • Keep all screws and hardware unless new ones are included

Folding Sawhorse Style Leg

Used on: Tailgater-style grills

  1. Unplug the Grill.
  2. With the help of another person, carefully lay the grill on its back.
  3. Remove the wheels and axel that holds the right legs together.
  4. Remove screws that holds the leg to the grill body( including knob screws).
  5. Pull leg away from grill.
  6. Attach new leg to the grill body. Start all screws loosely.
  7. Reinstall wheels and axle. 
  8. Tighten all hardware securely.
Cabinet Clip Style Leg

Used on: Century 22-style grills

  1. Unplug the Grill.
  2. With the help of another person, carefully lay the grill on its back.
  3. Remove the wheels and axel.
  4. Remove bolts securing leg to grill body.
  5. Remove bottom shelf.
  6. Pull leg out from grill body slots.
  7. Align new leg with grill body slots.
  8. Push legs fully into place.
  9. Install screws loosely first.
  10. Reinstall bottom shelf.
  11. Reinstall wheels and axle.
  12. Tighten screws fully.
Bolt-On Steps

Used on: Pro style grills

  1. Unplug the Grill.
  2. With the help of another person, carefully lay the grill on its back.
  3. Remove leg brace, if applicable.
  4. Remove bolts securing leg to grill body.
  5. Pull leg away from grill.
  6. Position new leg on mounting points.
  7. Install hardware in this order:
    • Bolt → washer → leg → washer → spring washer → nut
  8. Start all fasteners loosely.
  9. Attach leg brace.
  10. Tighten all hardware evenly.

After Installation

  • Return grill to upright position (2 people required)
  • Confirm:
    • All fasteners are tight
    • Grill is stable and level
  • Reinstall any removed parts (shelf, wheels, etc.)
