  2. Press the burner knob in and rotate to the ignite position.
    • Confirm the burner is lit by looking through the flame windows.
      • Occasionally the flame visibility windows will fog up during ignition. This often happens in cold weather. This is completely normal, and the fogging should dissipate quickly. See, Fogging Flame Visibility Windows, for more information.
    • There will also be a "whooshing" sound when the burner lights.
    • If the burner did not light, turn the burner knob back to the OFF position and repeat until the burner is lit.
  3. Repeat on other side.
  4. Turn burner knob(s) to desired temperature and let the grill preheat for up to 15 minutes.

How to Shut Down your Flatrock 2-Zone

  1. Turn both burner knobs to the OFF position.
  2. With the grill still warm, scrape any excess food into the grease and ash keg.
  3. Allow the cooktop to fully cool and close the lid.
  4. Close the propane tank valve.
