Replacing the Hot Rod

Tools Needed

• Phillips Screwdriver

Replacement Steps

1. Open the grill and remove the following 5 screws using a Phillips screwdriver:
   • 1 inside grill barrel
   • 2 on opposite sides of the hopper
   • 2 on the controller
     
2. Push the controller through the opening to inside of the hopper
   
3. Grab the handle inside the barrel and lift up. Lean the contents on the inside of the lid
   
4. Cut the zip ties
5. Undo the blue Molex connector
   
6. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the screw on the hot rod and slide the hot rod out
   
7. Feed the Molex connector underneath the metal bar to remove the hot rod from the grill
   
   
8. Replace with new hot rod
9. Follow the steps in reverse to put the grill back together
