- Phillips Screwdriver
- 8/32 Hex Socket Screwdriver
- Pliers

Power Cord Replacement Steps
- Turn off and unplug your grill.
- Make sure the hopper is empty of any pellets.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws holding the controller to the hopper.
- Once unscrewed, push the controller back into the slot and in the hopper.
- Remove the four screws that connect the hopper to the barrel of the grill.
- There are two screws in front, and two in the back.
- Lift and remove the hopper from the grill. Set that aside.
- Proceed to unplug the black molex connectors coming from the power cord.
- Loosen the 830 ground screws holding the green grounding wire.
- With pliers, squeeze the plastic piece holding the wire in place. Remove the wire and feed it through the mounting hole.
- Now you are ready to put in the new power cord.
- First, feed the wire through the mounting hole.
- Install the green grounding wire properly, making sure to screw in the screw to keep it in place.
- Make sure the plug the molex connector back into the controller.
- Reattach the hopper to the barrel, screw all 4 screws back in.
- Reassemble the controller.
