Tools Needed

  • Phillips Screwdriver

Replacement Steps

Before Performing Any Replacement Steps:

  • Turn burner knobs to OFF position, close the propane tank
  • Ensure the grill is completely cooled
  • Open the lid and remove the cooktop
  1. Remove the screws holding the baffle plate in place.

    Pro Tip: IronTop 2-Burner has x4 screws, 4-Burner has x6 screws.
  2. Lift out the old back baffle plate.
  3. Place the new baffle plate in the grill, lining up the screw holes.
  4. Replace the screws to secure the plate.
  5. Replace the cooktop.
  6. Close the lid.
