If your new Timberline grill is taking in water into the barrel or grease & ash keg, don't worry. This is completely normal and a scenario taken into account during development and has been tested thoroughly.
WHY IS THERE WATER COLLECTING IN MY TIMBERLINE
You may see water collecting in your grill after a cook in the rain or when the grill is left uncovered in rain. Water gets in the grill from the lid gasket interface where it will then run down the inside surface of the manifold (heat shield) and into the bucket.
WHAT TO DO
This is actually normal and a scenario for which we extensively tested. It will not affect the grill's ability to operate or ignite, even if the pellets get wet.
