Replacing Lid Hinges

Applicable SKUs: KIT0606, KIT0658

  1. Power off and unplug your grill.
  2. Remove the 8 screws from each lid hinge (16 total).
  3. Replace lid hinges and secure with 8 screws on each hinge (16 total).

 

Replacing a Lid

Applicable SKUs: KIT0603, KIT0604, KIT0607, KIT0608

  1. Power off and unplug your grill.
  2. Remove 4 screws (8 screws in total) from each hinge attached to the grill's backsplash.
  3. Remove the Lid.
  4. Attach lid hinges to replacement lid: install top of hinge to the lid with 4 screws on each hinge- no wrong way to put them on; hinges are reversible.
  5. Install lid handle with 2 screws/2 washers, ensure mica sheet is installed as well - 2 mica sheets (1 on each side of the handle) sit between the lid handle and the lid.
  6. Place replacement lid on the grill.
  7. Align lid hinge holes with holes on the grill's backsplash.
  8. Secure the lid by attaching the bottom of the lid hinges to the grill's backsplash with 4 screws.

Replacing a Lid Handle

Applicable SKUs: KIT0645, KIT0646

  1. Power off and unplug your grill.
  2. Open the lid and remove screws and washers for the handle.
  3. Remove handle and mica plates.
  4. Feed screw with washer through the inside of the lid, so the end of the screw is sticking through the lid.
  5. Place the mica plate over the screw.
  6. Place one end of the handle on the screw and tighten halfway.
  7. Feed the other screw with the washer through the inside of the lid so the end of the screw is sticking through the lid.
  8. Place the mica plate over the screw.
  9. Align both mica plates with the handle and fully tighten screws.

Replacing a Lid Gasket

Applicable SKUs: KIT0668, KIT0669, KIT0670, KIT0671

  1. Remove the lid by removing the 4 screws on each hinge on the back of the grill.
  2. Remove the old gasket by pulling it out and removing the stainless steel clips.
  3. Locate the center of the gasket and line it up with the center mark on the back of the grill.
  4. Insert the stainless steel clips of the new lid gasket into each hole on the lid.
  5. Reinstall the lid.
