TIMBERLINE 'BAD PROBE ERROR'

CAUSE

A short circuit is detected in one of the wired meat probes.

NOTE: A short-circuit is not the only way a wired meat probe can become faulty, but it is currently the only fault condition reported as a “Bad Probe.”

WHAT DOES THE GRILL DO WHEN THIS ERROR OCCURS?

The grill continues to cook but can not use the faulty wired meat probe.

WHAT TO DO 

  1. Make sure FIRMWARE is up to date.
  2. Replace the meat probe by purchasing one at Traeger.com or contact Customer Support if your grill is under warranty
