Information on 'Error: 0031 Flame Sensor Disconnected' that sometimes appears on Timberline grills.
CAUSE
The grill has detected that the flame sensor is not connected. This could be due to a bad connection to the flame sensor or a failed sensor.
WHAT DOES THE GRILL DO WHEN THIS ERROR OCCURS?
The grill continues to cook, but at a reduced performance.
WHAT TO DO
- Make sure firmware is up to date.
- Turn off the grill and check the wiring connections.
- Open the hopper access panel and remove the Smart Combustion cover.
- Verify that all cables are connected.
- If you are unsure, disconnect and reconnect each connection.
- Verify that no cables are pinched or damaged.
- Turn on the grill.
- If the error appears again, contact Customer Support.
- Run Self Test.
- If the flame sensor fails, contact Customer Support.
