SHIPPING: REFUSAL, DUPLICATES, OR WRONG ITEM RECEIVED

What's in This Article?

This article explains how you can refuse a delivery and what to do on the rare occasion that you receive a duplicate or wrong shipment.

SHIPMENT REFUSAL

There are three ways that you can refuse a grill shipment from Traeger. See below for further details on each scenario.

WAYS TO REFUSE A SHIPMENT

  1. You can refuse the shipment over the phone when FedEx calls you to schedule the delivery.

  2. You could call FedEx themselves before delivery and refuse the shipment. However, you would need to know the FedEx PRO# (tracking #).

  3. You can refuse the shipment when the driver shows up to deliver the package. The driver will take the package with them and return the shipment to the sender, which would be Traeger.

WHY WOULD A CUSTOMER REFUSE A SHIPMENT?

  • A customer usually refuses a shipment on the rare occasion that they notice damage on their grill upon delivery. However, this only applies to larger grill shipments.

  • Small shipments delivered by UPS or USPS may not be refused at the door, as the carrier would leave the package.

WHAT IF A CUSTOMER NEEDS TO REFUSE A SMALL SHIPMENT FROM UPS/USPS?

  • A small shipment is a shipment that is NOT a grill and is under 150 lbs.

  • In this case, you would need to contact our Customer Service to cancel the shipment in transit.

NOTES: We cannot cancel UPS Mail Innovations shipments. Once they ship, you won't be able to refuse them.

DUPLICATE SHIPMENTS

In rare situations, a customer may receive duplicate shipments.

WHAT DO I DO IF I RECEIVE DUPLICATE SHIPMENTS?

If you receive a duplicate order, you are NOT responsible for the return shipping costs. Please contact Customer Service.
