GRILL APPEARS OFFLINE IN THE APP

Troubleshooting steps for when your grill is connected to WiFi, but does not show up or shows as Offline the app.

 

CHECK THE APP SETTINGS & VERSION

Continue to the next step of troubleshooting if the grill continues to show as offline within the app.

  1. Check your app version.
    1. In the Traeger app, tap Account Name at the top of the screen.
    2. Scroll to the bottom to view the app version.
    3. Compare your app version to the current one found here.
      1. If the app version is out of date, go into the device app store (Apple App Store, Play Store) to update the app.
        1. If the grill does not show up in the app after updating the app, continue troubleshooting.
      2. If the app version is up to date, continue troubleshooting.
  2. Clear the App Cache.
    • iOS: Delete and reinstall the app.
    • Android: Varies on device but customers can either clear the Traeger App cache data or all device cache data.
      1. Device Setting > App Settings > Traeger App > Storage > Clear Cache Data.
    • Sign back into the app.
  3. Sign in and out of the app.
    1. Tap the profile at the top of the app home screen.
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
    3. Tap Log Out.
    4. Sign into the app.
    5. Tap Sign In at the top of the app home screen.
    6. Enter account email and password.
    7. Tap Sign In.

If the grill still shows as Offline within the app, re-pair your grill with your app.

  1. Remove the Grill from the App.

  2. Reset your grill's WiFi.

    1. Turn on the grill and press the Menu button.
    2. Scroll down to and select, WIFI INFORMATION.
    3. While on this screen, press and hold the IGNITE button for 10 seconds.
    4. Power cycle your grill by turning off and unplugging your grill, waiting 10 seconds and plugging it back in, and turning it on again.
  3. Attempt to Pair
