What's in This Article?

A step-by-step walkthrough to pair a WiFIRE grill using an Android device (including Google Pixels).

PRE-PAIRING CHECKLIST

Before pairing, ensure your grill, home WiFi, and Android device are properly set up.

  • Download the Traeger App
Note that the Traeger app is supported only on Android 10 or newer. Older versions may not permit full functionality of the app. Galaxy S22 with Android 13 OS cannot pair.
    1. Go to the Google Play store on your Android phone.
    2. Search for Traeger and download the Traeger App.
    3. Open the app and either create an account or log into a pre-existing account.
  • Check your Home WiFi Setup
  • Check the grill’s proximity to the router
    • The grill should be within 30 ft from the router.
