'SOMETHING CAME UP. THE APPLICATION HAS CANCELLED THE REQUEST TO CHOOSE A DEVICE.'

CAUSE

This message is Android generated, and Traeger does not have control over it. Getting this message means that there was an issue with your grill and the WiFi access points.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, you will need to force quit the app and re-pair the grill to your app. As an additional measure, consider turning off Bluetooth and mobile data as well. Please take the steps below:

Force Quit the App

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Select the Running tab to view only active or running apps.
  4. Choose Traeger App.
  5. Select Stop or Force Stop.

Turn off Mobile Data

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Data.
  3. Toggle the Mobile Data switch from On to Off.

Turn off Bluetooth

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Bluetooth.
  3. Toggle the switch from On to Off.

Re-Pair Grill

Once pairing is successful, be sure to turn on mobile data again. Your phone will not connect to the mobile network without mobile data.
