Replacing a Flat Top Grill Grease Keg

Follow these steps to replace a flat top grease keg

  1. Turn burner knobs to OFF, close the propane tank, and disconnect the regulator.
  2. Slide out the EZ-Clean Grease Keg with keg liner.

  3. Empty and discard the keg liner. Line the EZ-Clean Grease Keg with a new liner and slide it back into the bracket on the bottom of the Flat Top Grill (you will feel it “drop” into place when installed fully).

Replacing a Flat Top Grill Grease Chute

  1. Unplug the grill from power, close the propane tank and disconnect the regulator.
  2. Open the cooktop lid.
  3. Remove the cooktop.
  4. Remove the x2 screws on the grease chute

  5. Pull the grease chute towards you to slide it out.

  6. Slide the new grease chute into place.
  7. Replace the x2 screws.
  8. Replace the cooktop.
  9. Close the cooktop lid.

Replacing the Grease Keg Front Trim Piece

  1. Remove the x2 screws underneath the grease keg trim piece.

  2. Pull the old trim away from the grill.
  3. Place replacement piece in place.
  4. Replace the x2 screws underneath the trim.

Replacing the Grease Keg Slide Rail

  1. Unplug the grill from power, close the propane tank and disconnect the regulator.
  2. Remove the grease keg front trim piece by removing the x2 screws underneath and pulling it away from the grill (see above for additional information).
  3. Remove the x4 remaining screws holding the slide rail in place.

  4. Remove the slide rail and place replacement piece in place.
  5. Replace the x4 screws.
  6. Replace the front trim using the x2 screws.
