How to replace the bottom shelf on the Flatrock 2 Zone grill.

 

Applicable SKUs

  • Bottom Shelf: FTK0114
  • Bottom Shelf Bracket: FTK0122

Replacement Steps

  1. Turn burner knobs to OFF, close the propane tank, and disconnect the regulator.
  2. Remove the propane tank and set it aside.
  3. Open the lid and remove the cooktop.
  4. Remove grease keg.
  5. Remove the wire shelf by removing the x4 screws.

  6. With the help of another person, rotate the grill upside down.
    • To prevent scratches on the lid, put a blanket or cardboard down.
  7. Remove the x4 caster wheels by turning them counterclockwise until they come out (lock the caster wheel prior to spinning them).
  8. Remove the propane tank retainer by removing the x1 screw and washer and sliding the retainer out.

  9. Remove the x8 screws and washers (2 on each leg) that hold the bottom shelf to the legs.
  10. Pull the bottom shelf off.
  11. Place the new shelf on the legs and line up the screw holes.
  12. Replace the x8 screws and washers (2 on each leg).

  13. Replace the x4 caster wheels by turning them clockwise until they are fully in (lock the caster wheel before doing this).

  14. Replace the propane tank retainer by sliding it in and replacing the x1 screw and washer.
  15. With the help of another person, turn the grill upright.
  16. Replace the wire shelf by using the x4 screws.
  17. Replace the cooktop and the grease keg.
  18. Replace the propane tank.
  19. Reattach the regulator hose to the propane tank.
