Woodridge Series Controller Not Turning On

Symptoms

Controller does not turn on when grill is powered on.

  • The grill has power (power switch lights up), but the controller does not turn on

Causes

This most likely is a result of the controller wires not being securely connected.

Resolution

Follow the steps below to check and secure the controller wire connections:

  1. Turn off and unplug the grill from power.
  2. For the Woodridge Elite, remove the 4 screws from the filler panel below the controller, remove the panel and set aside.
  3. Open the hopper lid and remove the x2 screws from the controller trim.

  4. Remove the two screws from the lower portion of the controller at the front of the grill and carefully lift up the controller and trim belt.

  5. Disconnect and reconnect the wire harnesses ensuring a solid connection.

  6. Attach the controller trim to the grill using x2 screws inside the hopper and x2 screws on the outside below the controller (x4 total).
  7. Reattach the filler panel below the controller using x4 screws.
  8. Power on the grill.
  9. If issue is not resolved, contact customer service
