ER05: Bad Probe- Woodridge Series

What causes the error?

A short-circuit is detected in one of the wired meat probes.

• A short-circuit is not the only way a wired meat probe can become faulty, but it is currently the only fault condition that is reported as a “Bad Probe”.

Symptoms

The grill continues to cook, but it cannot use the faulty wired meat probe.

If the grill is connected to the Traeger app, you will see the following notification:

What to do

1. Plug both meat probes into the probe jacks on the controller.
2. Switch the probes in the probe jacks.
3. Look to see if the error is following the meat probe.
4. If it is following the meat probe, replace the probe.
5. If the error appears no matter which probe is plugged into the probe jack, contact customer service.
