How to Replace a Pellet Sensor on a Woodridge Pro & Elite
Note: The pellet levels on the Woodridge Pro & Elite are only visible on the Traeger app. Levels will not show on the controller screen.
Tools Needed
- #2 Phillips screwdriver

- All screws, unless otherwise noted, are 1/4-20 X 1/2" screws.
- Create a secure space to set aside hardware. As you remove hardware, keep them separated in groupings according to step.

- Prepare the Grill for Servicing.
- Turn off and unplug grill from power.
- Woodridge Elite Only: Remove the x4 screws from the front right trim panel. Set the panel aside.
- Pull out the Controller.
- Open the hopper lid and remove the x2 screws from the controller trim, keeping the controller installed in the trim.
- Remove x2 screws from the lower portion of the controller trim at the front of the grill.
- Carefully lift up the controller and trim belt.
- Remove the Old Pellet Sensor.
- Remove the x1 screw from the pellet sensor.
- Disconnect the pellet sensor wiring harness from the back of the controller.
- Remove the pellet sensor from the grill.
- Remove the x1 screw from the pellet sensor.
- Install the New Pellet Sensor.
- Place the new pellet sensor in the grill, routing the wiring harness through the hole below it.
- Connect the new pellet sensor's wiring harness to the back of the controller.
- Place the controller and trim assembly onto the grill, making sure that all the wires are tucked in behind the controller.
- Secure the pellet sensor in place using the new x1 screw included in the service kit.
- Reassemble the Grill.
- Attach the controller and trim to the grill with the x4 screws you removed previously (x2 screws inside the hopper, x2 screws on the outside below the controller).
- Woodridge Elite: Reinstall the right trim panel below the controller using the remaining x4 screws.
- Service Complete!
- Turn off and unplug grill from power.
- Prepare the Grill for Servicing.
